Long before Valentine was even born, Logan and I have had a bit of an obsession with hearts. There’s something so graceful about the shape, something so powerful about the idea of a universal symbol for love. Now that Valentine is around, hearts have become even more meaningful. I find my head turning every time I see one and I thought I’d share some of my favorite versions of this simple shape.
This heart print will hopefully find its way onto our foyer wall at some point. I love the pop of color and the modern design, and I think it’d be great if this was the first thing people see when they walk into our home.
I’ve never been much for tattoos, but you guys…um…I’m seriously thinking about getting this one.
This simple and sweet leather key fob somehow makes even a set of keys look chic.
Isn’t this a pretty piece of wall art by Honeybee Vintage? It’d be easy to customize it with your own color palette and it would be the perfect statement piece for a little girl’s room. It doesn’t seem too complicated to make, either.
A beautiful heart braid. It’s intended for a little girl, but I think it’d be kind of rad for a casual summer date.
I love this hand-stenciled sweatshirt and have had it on my wishlist for ages. The slouchy style is so cute and would look great with a pair of skinnies and some sneakers.
What do you think? Do you like hearts? Or do you think they’re cheesy? Is there a shape, motif or theme that you catch yourself returning to again and again?
