Kelsey Davis Design

Last Saturday we went to The Hip Handmade Market, an indie craft fair with an impeccably curated selection of handmade goods. There was embroidery with cheeky quotes, laser cut honeycomb pendants, letterpress prints, wood-burnings…so much greatness. But one of my favorite booths belonged to Kelsey Davis, a designer and maker from Oklahoma City. She has pretty stationary, prints, and garlands, but my favorite thing was her “faux taxidermy” ::

Seriously, how hilarious and cute is this idea? And these animal heads are so impressive in person. You couldn’t take your eyes off her booth. :)

I love the bright colors and fun prints she chooses for the stuffed animal heads. I catch myself smiling whenever I look at them.

You can customize your order for an extra $10, and choose the colors of the plush or the wall plaque. What a fun statement piece for a nursery!

Honestly, all of her colors are almost exactly the color palette I’ve chosen for Valentine’s room, so I’m already saving up money for one of these cuties!

You can check out the rest of Kelsey’s designs in her Etsy store. I especially love this print.

What about you? What colors would you choose? What animal is your favorite?
